More About Our Team

You will feel the warmth of our friendly team as soon as you enter one of our rooms.

Our experienced manager and well qualified staff will try and put you at ease from the very first day, and will be dedicated to ensuring that your child settles happily into nursery life.

The staff are always welcoming and happy to see any one of the children who walk through the door. They always try to be on hand to answer any questions or queries that you may have or take on board any suggestions or feedback that you want to give about the room, the staff or the nursery as a whole.

New staff members are fully inducted into the setting and are immediately introduced to our thorough procedures that we follow within the rooms.

All staff will have undergone an Enhanced DBS check and referencing.

As a setting we welcome the chance to encourage training. We accept student placements, and at certain times of the year you may see students working in the rooms alongside our teams.

We see this as a great way of introducing the next generation into the working world, and offer as much guidance as we can as well as providing a realistic insight into the childcare industry.

Alongside students we offer apprenticeships and see this as an opportunity to take on enthusiastic and dedicated learners, who often mature into fantastic nursery nurses. All learners undergo certified training, and assessors regularly visit them at the setting to observe their practice. All learners are mentored by another qualified member of staff within the setting.

We are committed to developing the knowledge of all staff who work for us, and provide opportunities for them to develop their personal skills as well as their knowledge and skills in caring for children. We regularly carry out staff meetings which we hold at least every 6 weeks, and staff also attend external training as relevant. Furthermore management carry out regular supervisions with staff on a one to one basis and appraisals annually, all in the interest of continuously improving. Our staff are paediatric first aid trained and certain staff have specialist training and areas of responsibility, for example our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
